Provide financial and controlling expertise to the organization by compiling and analyzing metrics, identifying trends and problems, and recommending actions to improve financial performance within a global IT program. Support Global IT Program controller and Program management in all financial and commercial matters and actively drive the program’s performance. You will be part of PG Global IT Controlling Team and report functionally to Global IT Program Controller.
Your responsibilities
- Operate the backbone of product group main legal entity cost control and reporting
- Operate project review cycle to understand development of actuals vs. budget, cost-to-come and derive estimates: both cost (P&L and BS) and cash (cash in, cash out)/ capex vs. opex perspective
- Drive the translation of program workstream’s needs to budget / forecast requirements and assess if in line with program scope, assess financial impact
- Supplier contract management / P.O. management, close cooperation with the procurement and the AP team; Coordinate and ensures timely creation of purchase orders, serves as a key point of contact towards vendors and internal accounting team for possible issue resolution
- Design, build-up and operate automation of management reporting, drive continuous improvement initiatives in your area of responsibility
- Challenge scenarios, and ask “what-if” questions, in order to propose appropriate accounting treatment
- Support financial analysis of global product group (actuals vs budget, estimated spend vs actual spend, key drivers, variances etc.)
- Ensure strict implementation of group and program guidelines
Your background
- BA in Finance/Business management/IT
- or equivalent practical experience
- Proven track record of 4+ years’ experience
- in financial analysis, controlling or financial reporting working for a multinational company with matrixed teams – desired in IT organisation
- Detailed understanding of finance process, workflows and tools
- General understanding of IT Service and Project management
- Familiarity with the USGAAP, SOX and IFRS.
- Working knowledge of end-to-end contracting process, incl. PO management.
- Exposure to SAP or similar class ERP systems
- Proficiency in MS Office - Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
- Extremely detail-oriented, with strong numerical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, solution oriented and driven personality with focus on continuous improvement

- Fluency in verbal English is required, excellent English-writing skills are essential as well as overall strong written and verbal communication skills, must be comfortable working with senior stakeholders
- Knowledge of building PowerBi reports will be a plus
