Euroclear Bank, the pulse of the financial world.
Once shares and bonds are traded, the securities and cash need to be exchanged. That’s where Euroclear Bank comes in to ‘settle’ the trades. Our people ensure that large amounts of money and securities are safely exchanged between buyers and sellers from all parts of the globe.
Euroclear started in 2007 a journey towards Lean Management which has been gradually implemented in the entire group. Although there are many improvements that still needs to be done, Euroclear is today recognized as a leading organisation for operational excellence and lean management in the service industry, being visited since by more than 150 companies.
In 2012, as the global Lean implementation through Lean waves was finalized, the Lean team transformed itself to better answer it’s client requests. It became the Continuous Improvement and Transformation team (CI&T team), an internal consulting team helping teams, department and divisions to solve complex issues and bring pragmatic solutions to deliver higher quality at lower cost/risk while engaging their people and make their implementation stick. Those issues are often more transversal across divisions and entities, and by solving those, the team contributes to an improved, effective collaboration in the company.
To strengthen the team, we are looking to recruit an "Engagement Analyst". This person is an experienced internal consultant who combines result orientation, personal drive and a hands-on attitude with strong analytical skills, knowledge of Lean principles and the soft skills to influence/coach people. He uses these skills to make changes impactful and persistent.
As a CI&T Engagement Analyst you have a key role in the team, capable of taking the lead and participate in the delivery of various types of client engagements:
-
Complex transversal transformations: The complexity of these cross-divisional transformation resides in the nature of those problems, the number and seniority of people involved as well as the energy and skills required to find pragmatic solutions, assure the buy-in on them and make them stick.
-
Team transformation/Set up or divisional problem solving. In this case the Engagement Analyst will take responsibility to scope and diagnose the problem, design together with the business team a solution and implement it using the Lean principles as a way to make the solution stick.
- Throughout the engagements, you will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership that leads to tangible results, and strong coaching skills to develop both line managers and colleagues.
-
Overall, you must feel ownership for implementing a continuous improvement culture and achieving operational excellence. You should also actively drive and support the development of new knowledge around consulting and lean management.
On top of participating to the team transformations and continuous improvement, you will also assure the relationship and management of our service towards Management in Poland and co-ordinate CI activities in Krakow. The function is based in Poland, but will require regular travelling, depending on the transformation assignments.
The successful candidate will have a great deal of autonomy, and interact on a daily basis with several levels of management across Euroclear. You will be exposed to a wide variety of topics, problems and domains and have a unique view on Euroclear Divisions (ranging from IT, HR, Finance to banking operations), its product offering and its strategic intentions.
-
Master’s degree or equivalent experience, advanced degree or professional designation preferred.
