Capita Poland’s Krakow Business Centre was established in late 2011. We are a multi-disciplinary business process outsourcing centre set up by the Capita Group Plc. Given our expansion plans in a number of sectors and the addition of some exciting new projects, Capita is currently recruiting for the position of:
Personal Independence Payments (PIP) Unit
- to deliver clinically based L&D interventions to support HPs to deliver the PIP service across PIP lots 2 & 4
- to assist in the design and development of L&D solutions across all clinical aspects of PIP which meet business objectives and needs
- to work closely with key operational colleagues, ensuring that high clinical standards are consistently met across design, development and delivery and best practice shared
As Clinical Trainer, you will:
- maintain and evidence personal CPD and ensure continued professional registration
- undertake the facilitation and delivery of approved L&D interventions to trainee and approved disability assessors in a learner-focused way based upon identified operational needs
- achieve and maintain approved status of F2F, paper based reports and audit as agreed by the DWP Report to the Lead Clinical Trainer
- complete all work within the Capita PIP Service Level Agreements as defined within the PIP contract and adhere to all quality standards
- be accountable to the Head of Clinical Training and will be expected to work as part of a team sharing best practice
- provide other duties as required by the service
- work with reasonable notice of location across Capita lots 2 and 4; overnight stays may be necessary
- effectively manage and support groups/individual Disability Assessors through L&D interventions
- be a key contact providing support, advice and assistance to Disability Assessors throughout their learning and development
- ensure the attainment of current operational clinical objectives within timescale
- escalate concerns appropriately where a member of staff falls below the overall quality standard
- escalate concerns regarding individuals who are not working within the Capita Service Level Agreements to the Lead Clinical Trainer
- provide a consistent and professional service to all Disability Assessors through L&D interventions
- co-operate and work respectfully with colleagues to support a positive working culture
- be responsive to change
- actively drive a team work ethic to maintain overall Service Levels across as defined by the PIP contract
- share experience, knowledge and ideas to assist development of team members
- find ways to celebrate and communicate team and individual success
- communicate effectively (verbal and written) with groups/individual Disability Assessors, taking account of differing learning styles and individual needs
- show an ability to listen, express and articulate information effectively to a wide range of experienced health professionals
- successfully manage challenging behaviours within the learning environment to assist a positive outcome
- show proficiency in the daily use of PIP IT systems including, CRM, PIPAT, and EAS
- participate in team meetings and articulate development opportunities
- demonstrate an excellent level of interpersonal skills
- understand and adhere to the required Service Level Agreements that are in place and support the business in their achievement
- demonstrate positive experiences for Disability Assessors by acknowledging and utilising appropriate methods of L&D delivery whilst adhering to professional standards
- support and assist in the design of L&D interventions
- monitor and check processes for quality purposes
- take ownership of any feedback and utilise to aid own personal and professional development
- look for ways to improve quality of service delivery without adversely impacting cost or service level agreements
- demonstrate proficiency and competency in all types of claimant assessment including writing of approved assessment reports to A grade standard in line with service level agreements
- experienced UK registered Health Professional with current and unrestricted professional registration with any of the following bodies: GMC, NMC, HCPC
- ability to act in accordance with your relevant UK Code of Professional Conduct, being accountable your own practice and professional actions at all times
- minimum of 2 years post registration experience
- ability to work autonomously without direct supervision
- approved DA status, as awarded by DWP with no restrictions pending or in progress
- knowledge and experience of learning styles
- experience of designing and delivering L&D solutions
- in-depth knowledge of the physiological, pathological, social and cultural issues which underpin the PIP assessment criteria and attention to detail
- developed IT skills as the process involves using bespoke IT systems
- excellent communication skills, specifically written and verbal
- understanding of clinical governance
