This position sits within Aon's Security Risk Management organisation. The geographical scope of this role is global. Working with the global and regional Client & Supplier Security teams, the CSS Specialist will: perform client and supplier security assessment and review activities. The role requires a close cooperation with other security functions such as Business Continuity, Physical Security, Information Security and others.
- Respond to client Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and questionnaires related to security;
- Respond to client questions and concerns related to security;
- Review supplier security questionnaire responses and documentation;
- Perform supplier security assessment activities;
- Assist in client security audits and facilitate process with internal stakeholder;
- Assist in writing white papers/sales slicks specific to security topics;
- Update and maintain security repositories;
- Enhance and update tools as industry requirements change;
- Assist with other Security Risk Management initiatives;
- May occasionally require hours to accommodate US, EMEA & APAC time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent or equivalent work experience;
- 2-4 years in corporate environment;
- MS Office and project management skills;
- Professionally well spoken and written English a must (C1 or higher), additional languages will be an advantage;
- Prior experience of information security, programming, IT risk management or business continuity governance preferred;
- Experience working with auditors and/or regulators;
- Strong partnering, communication and presentation skills;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Experience of coordinating activities between multiple parties;
- Strong relationship and team building skills;
- Information security/data privacy/ business continuity knowledge recommended;
- Understanding of security risk assessment processes;
- Interest in developing knowledge in security;
- Security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO 27001) would be an advantage;
- Spotless record and strong ethos;
