For our newly opened office in Rekcin (Gdansk), Poland, we are looking for a
to start as soon as possible, or upon availability. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated

Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping in line with industry-leading practices;
- Independently preparing interim and annual declarations and reports in accordance with tax, local
- GAAP and IFRS requirements;
- Performing month-end financial accounting close;
- Production of internal IFRS reporting package;
- Performing checks on the compliance, completeness, and reliability of economic and financial
- operations, and ensuring compliance with internal controls over financial reporting;
- Informing the management board about changes in legal, accounting and HR regulations;
- HR administration (e.g. settling and managing employee documentation in accordance with
- applicable law and regulations);
- Maintaining relations with banks and other financial institutions;
- Contact person for external auditors and tax authorities;
- Contact person for regional controlling for monthly operational planning and budget.
- Education in accounting or finance;
- Min. 2 years’ experience as a Chief Accountant;
- Very good knowledge of Polish tax regulations, Accounting Act and labor law;
- Proven track record in preparing financial and tax statements;
- Strong experience in the areas of tax, accounting, HR and payroll;
- Good knowledge of financial and accounting programs, preferably Oracle;
- Organizational skills and ability to set priorities;
- Independence and excellent interpersonal skills;
- Fluency in English and Polish. Any other European languages, (e.g. Russian) would be advantageous.
