Position Description:
Call Processing Engineer in LTE product end-to-end system integration and verification department. Assures high quality of Nokia LTE product by performing wide scale E2E system tests. Overall responsibility of end-to-end testing area. Ensures effective testing and high quality delivery to customer for specific features. Works on reflecting field test conditions in LAB using highly sophisticated automated E2E test environment enabling simultaneous test activities on all test areas such as CP, OAM, TT. Constantly improves the test environment by implementing EDA process findings. Follows the customer situations and fault findings. In this position you will:

analyze features with respect to end-to-end purpose and functionality,

design manual test cases and automated test scenarios,

integrate and verify features in a customer-close, end-to-end test lab with real equipment environment,

troubleshoot SW bugs by proper pre-analysis of the faults, deliver traces and log files and verify the fixes delivered by development,

analyze problems found by the customers and as a result enhance the test environment with additional tests scenarios,

develop the automated test lab environment called Simulated Field Environment to come closer to real customer field conditions,
Must have:
- Good end-to-end system knowledge and solid understanding of the overall LTE Network Architecture.
- Experience with 3GPP product architecture, design and implementation. Specifically, E-UTRAN and EPC
- experience is desired.
- Knowledge of Radio Resource Management, Packet Scheduling, Admission Control and/or Mobility
- procedures
- Experience with 3GPP LTE protocols with focus on S1 (signaling)
- Understanding of LTE RLC, MAC and Physical layer protocols.
- QoS mechanisms used in Radio Access and Core networks
- Call processing experience
- Knowledge of IP network protocols & QoS.
- good communication in English (both written and spoken);
- readiness to relocate to Wroclaw, living in or nearby
Nice to have:
- Good end-to-end system knowledge and solid understanding of the overall LTE Network Architecture.
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Software Technology, Physics or an equivalent education.
- Previous experience in system verification test planning and/or execution is a plus.
- Related work experience with protocols/algorithms used in Radio Access Networks (BTSs, radio controllers and/or mobile devices)
- Log collection and analysis skills with tools like Wireshark, QXDM, NEMO Outdoor, TEMS, XCAL
- CISCO CCNA certification is a plus.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus.
- Network security like public key infrastructure (certificate management).
- Basic programming skills for test automation e.g. bash, python, perl or C++
- User level experience for Linux operating systems
