Our Client is a teleshopping network company, offering distance selling and e-commerce services in Poland.
Currently, for our Client we are looking for candidates for the position of:
Place of work: Pomorskie Voivodship
Your task as a Buyer includes planning and implementing the buying process of given assortment. The goal will be to increase the profitability of existing products and help to develop new assortments in the market channels (teleshopping, e-commerce, retail). The execution (To-Go-Market) of the assortment is part of your basic responsibility. To do both, you are an active part of a team of category management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assortment planning and buying the products, to be placed in the teleshopping, e-commerce and retail sales channels
- Calculating and negotiating prices based on the buying budget of the given category and company targets
- Reporting and monitoring category’s performance (using standardized KPIs)
- Cooperating with the existing suppliers and acquiring of new vendors worldwide
- Building up strong partnership and leading contract negotiations with suppliers. under the supervision of category managers
- Developing and implementing the special promotions
- Carrying out market and product analyses
Your Profile:
- Business management university graduate
- Minimum 2 years of experience within purchasing (buyer position)
- Explicit non-food assortment buying experience. Working experience with kitchen assortment will be an asset
- Strong analytical skills and a high sense for numbers
- Modern retail or e-commerce experience will be a benefit
- Very good cooperation and communication skills
- Optimistic, “can do” approach
- Very good organizational skills, effective time management
- Very good English skills
