Your role

- manage, mentor and develop a team of 2 or more staff
- Partner with program managers to evaluate program spend for software capitalisation
- develop, implement and manage the Group Technology operational processes to facilitate the financial bookings of contractual costs, Internally Generated Computer Software and Restructuring Initiatives
- coordinate supporting units, managing relationships with Group Technology, GCOO COO and Finance and Controlling
- Implement processes to transition the existing processes to strategic solutions
- evaluate and mitigate risks
Your team
You'll be working in the Project Portfolio Controlling (PPC) team within Group Technology Operating Management in London. We ensure an effective and efficient Operating and Control environment across Group Technology, delivered within agreed operating plans, whilst providing portfolio management services across the firm. Project Portfolio Controlling (PPC) is the Service Line accountable for delivering consistent change the bank (CTB) portfolio through planning, support and reporting and implementation of operational processes to support the financial processes around software and contractual financial obligations
Your experience and skills
You have:
- a university degree
- experience in a role like this
- the ability to lead others as part of a team structure
- worked across multiple business lines and levels of seniority
- strong analytical, problem- solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure stuff out)
- the proven ability to handle multiple projects and manage conflicting priorities

- a strong communicator, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
- able to make timely decisions, seeking appropriate involvement of others and identifying appropriate risks
