As a member of Eastern Europe Business Development team (BD), which is part of the Global Solutioning and Service Architecture team, you will be responsible for service architecture, solution creation of sales proposals and service offering. As a solution architect you are responsible for pursuits in assigned focus areas. You will collaborate with Account and Bid Managers and you will provide specialist expertise within the sales team.
- To provide input into the sales cycle, from pre-sales engagement, through solutioning, Sign-on / Sign-off, proposal writing and costing and finally to contract schedule preparation and negotiation
- Takes responsibility for relevant aspects of an Infrastructure Services Solution, including: contract negotiation, solution crafting to fit in with the corporate strategy, Risk Evaluation, Commercial relationship, internal and external presentation, production of Cost Models and Requirement Management
- Maintain client contacts with IT Management and IT Director level
- Ownership of and co-ordinate for the total solution, cost estimate and benchmark
- Determinate client scope and is client facing SPOC for solution, e.g. dialogs, presentations
- Define high level solution including business case, with delivery, HR, finance, Transition & partners
- Set and lead direction for solution and challenges of the corporate Business Unit deliverables, incl. technical solution components, service solution design, delivery model, projects, governance and costing/pricing
- Partner selection and SOW in close co-operation with procurement
- Monitor solution consistency, business case, conditions, risks and mitigations, assumptions and issues
- Provide input into Deal Review Management process as required
- Mitigate / Minimize delivery risk on system implementation projects by determining the most appropriate delivery approach and by defining comprehensive proposal assumptions
- 5 years experience in the solution design field in a preferably Global IT Corporation
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- High Mobility and readiness to travel on very short notice (within the EU and Rest of the World)
- Ability to demonstrate a broad understanding of IS delivery within the following range of IS services (Multi E-2-E service line expertise):
- Service Desk Services
- Service Management
- Workplace Services
- Data Centre Services
- Network Services
- Knowledge of the different aspects of the technical solution, delivery as well as business;
- ITIL Foundation as a minimum
- Excellent interpersonal skills and be confident presenting
- Knowledge of cost modelling/cost presentation
