Requirements:
- Min. 3 years of experience directly managing and performing role in Crisis Management, Business Continuity, Risk Management
- Strong expertise in Business Continuity Management practices and protocols, including in-depth knowledge of international BCM standards promoted by BCI, DRI and ISO
- Strong understanding of Operational Risk and Resilience
- Industry certification in BCM Standards (ISO 22301/ BS 25999/ equivalent)
- Excellent decision making and problem solving ability
- Self-driven and proactive
- Strong organizational skills
- Stress management abilities
- Ability to quickly form working relationships, gain credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior management

Responsibilities:
The mandate of Business Continuity Manager is to ensure an effective and efficient BCM framework, governance, methodology, tools, templates, plans and strategies for crisis management, business resiliency and recovery, consistent with audit and regulatory requirements, industry best practices/standards, and requirements of Lufthansa Global Business Services.
Business Continuity Management ensures that all site risk assessments are conducted, crisis management procedures are in place, business recovery and continuity plans are prepared, and across all deliverables – maintained, continuously improved, together with organization fully trained and ready to respond to all applicable types of incidents and disruptions. The role takes direct accountability for leading related actions across the Center.
Tasks:
- Develop and deploy Site Risk Assessment analyses, identify key disasters, possible disruptions, and implement mitigation plans to prevent major business disruption occurrences
- Take all necessary actions to prevent major business disruption occurrence and to respond to disruptions in case of occurrences
- Develop and deploy Emergency Response and Crisis Management procedures
- Develop and deploy Business Impact analyses for all processes
- Develop and deploy Business Continuity plans for critical processes
- Develop necessary procedures, tools, templates for efficient and effective program execution
- Manage the annual Business Continuity Test plan
- Develop and maintain BCM Training and Awareness program and collaterals
- Maintain administration of BCM System, identify and deploy improvements to BCM System
- Direct accountability and responsibility to manage all types of incidents, disruptions and crises which impact the possibility of conducting critical activities in the location of scope, including response, implementation of BCP Plans and recovery
