Your role
Are you a stickler for getting things right? Do you know how to solve problems? We are looking for someone like this who will:
- support the project manager of EIA (Enquiries, Incidents and Alerts) system implementation
- provide required analyses throughout the projects lifecycle
- work closely with the project team members assisting with requirements analysis, process modeling, project assessment and benefits measurement in order to successfully transform the business services
The role focuses on the business processes review and delivery of associated analyses to eneble the most cost effective and efficient decision for the selection of which Phase 3 processes to on board.
Your team
You’ll be working in the Risk Change Architecture & Analysis Team which has team members in multiple UBS office locations. We support the delivery of Change-the-Bank projects. As a part of this team you would act as the essential conduit between stakeholders in the Business Divisions, Risk and the IT delivery functions, at various levels of seniority and across geographical locales.
Your experience and skills
You have:
- a degree in business administration, banking and finance, economics, engineering or similar subject
- 3+ years business analysis experience in the financial industry, ideally relating to the area of Financial Crime, Risk, Compliance, Wealth Management, retail or corporate business
- the ability to work with data from various sources and make sound conclusions
- very good knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Office tools (reporting tools such as Business Objects/Tableau/Microstrategy would be an asset)
- business excellence and process reengineering knowledge (such as the use of tools like ARIS, and methodologies such as BPMN v2.0)
You are:
- client orientated and are able to build collaborative relationships
- good at analysing and implementing your problem solving skills (you know how to figure things out)
- able to focus on details and quality
- fluent in English
- an excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills
- a flexible, resilient team player with a positive attitude.
Your experience and skills
You have:
- master's degree in a quantitative discipline or Economics/Finance
- good numerical and statistical skills
- strong programming skills in the statistical software R
- knowledge of database design and Oracle SQL, knowledge of LaTeX document creation would be an asset
- competency in working with large data sets, statistical analysis, regression models
- basic knowledge of financial markets
You are:
- very diligent, detail-oriented and accurate way of working
- highly self-motivated, pro-active and ability to work collaboratively
- fluent in English
