For our German client, world's leading IT Consulting company, we are looking for:
Big Data Consultant & Architect
Within this role you'll provide advisory and implementation expertise to our client (including use case and business case development, proof of concept execution to prove the value of Big Data use cases and solution and design of a big data architecture). You will also support business development activities.
The successful candidate should have deep experience across system integration, information management business analytics and architecture. You should have also worked in a data warehouse environment and be aware of existing and emerging data integration approaches. Solution architecture experience in traditional information management, integration of Big Data to a traditional data architecture, data architecture experience of designing and developing logical data models, deep design experience with programming on high scale or distributed systems (such as Hadoop) are also essential. Implementation expertise with high performance distributed parallel file system storage technology such as GPFS, GFS, CloudStore, HDFS or similar is also necessary. Hands-on experience with Hadoop stack will be an advantage as will knowledge of analytical toolsets including SAS, SPSS and R would be an asset. Excellent English and communicative level of German are necessary too.
