Position Description:
BB HW Integration Test engineer will perform HW integration and verification of new generation of NSN’s base stations. HW integration engineer plans, designs and executes testing of digital BB boards as well as bring up of various embedded systems which include high-end DSPs, ASICs, FPGAs and MCUs. Baseband Hardware Engineer in daily work is responsible for:
- integration of digital baseband boards with RF and transport modules;
- setup of test environment including automation and remote control of measurement equipment.
Must have:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications or an equivalent education;
- experience in digital HW / Embedded systems/ low level SW
- experience in script / programming languages (e.g. one of Perl/Python/Shell, Bash, C);
- experience in hardware / software integration / system testing / test automation;
- experience with measurement equipment such as logic analyzers, high speed oscilloscopes, microprocessor debuggers
- manual capability in handling of electronic boards (modifications including soldering in lab)
- knowledge of high speed interfaces used in telecommunication technology (CPRI, OBSAI);
- good communication in English (both written and spoken);
- readiness to relocate to Wroclaw, living in or nearby:
- teamwork skills.
Nice to have:
- knowledge of cellular and broadband 3G or 4G access technologies (UMTS, LTE);
- knowledge of network protocols and services (TCP/IP, switching, routing);
- knowledge of other specific programming languages will be seen as an additional asset;
