The Media Solutions Back Office Specialist called Imaging Service Representative is responsible for adding value to the Media Solutions process. They must meet and exceed our customers' expectations through superior customer service, scheduling, inputting of data and tracking jobs through our production areas, costing, billing, and process improvement.
The Media Solutions Back Office Specialist needs to service and partner with their customers by introducing them to new technology; thereby improving work flows for both the customer and for Quad/Graphics. Teamwork is a must to accomplish these responsibilities.
Duties:
- Provide high quality service for internal clients as well as our customers, being a single point of contact for all people involved in printing process.
- Scheduling, trafficking and troubleshooting jobs.
- Investigating the whole production process and decision path from all gathered information.
- Apply business judgment to exceptional situations and escalate as needed to higher level technical support.
- Suggest continuous improvement opportunities in standard processes & quality routines.
- Billing and costing jobs in internal software.
- Achieve goals set by company management and given from the client. Collaborate with both on-shore and off-shore colleagues to achieve increasing levels of productivity.
- Possibility to work during the nights (we are working between 4:00 P.M. – 12:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. – 2:00 A.M.)
- 1-2 years of experience in a commercial business setting. Pre-media services operational experience a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, primarily Excel and knowledge of .pdf file handling. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
- Applicants with experience in a company whose parent organizations or clients are based in an English-speaking nation will receive preferential consideration.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant content area: Marketing, Communications, Graphic Arts, Advertising. Degrees in Business, International Business, or English will also be considered.
- Upper Intermediate written & spoken English and Polish. Vocabulary distinct to the media industry a plus.
- Attention to detail and ability to apply, with judgment, detailed specifications and quality standards.
- Self-directed, proactive, exceptionally organized and disciplined at time management.
