Pearson Frank is extremely pleased to announce that one of our Clients, highly respected IT company specialising in top tier IT solutions in the financial domain, has created a new and exciting opportunity for a Automation Software Quality/ QA Engineer to join their team of highly skilled professionals in one of their offices: Toruń or Warsaw.
Our Client is a at the forefront of financial services industry and can boast considerable growth on international arena with significant plans for further expansion.
Their team of QA engineers perform testing and quality assurance throughout development of software products and collaborate with multiple teams across the organisation. Software Quality Engineers greatly influence the quality levels of the company’s products and play an important role within the organisation.
Responsibilities include:
- Work alongside Developers, Scrum Masters and product teams in an agile approach, to proactively improve the software quality of our products
- Creation and execution of tests at both functional and non-functional levels
- Operation and creation of test automation components
- Provide test metrics relating to test progress and product quality levels
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ of Quality Assurance / testing experience in the field of IT
- Practical knowledge relating to test automation using either Selenium, WebDriver, Java/Groovy
- Experience in developing test automation components using Cucumber
- Experience with continuous integration (CI) tools (Jenkins) and of testing with in a continuous delivery (CD) environment
- Strong awareness and experience of a variety of test techniques
- Good command of spoken and written English
Nice to have:
- Experience of working as part of an agile multidisciplinary, collaborative delivery team
- ISEB/ISTQB certification
- Awareness of a BDD approach and use of the Cucumber Framework
- Knowledge and or use of Groovy language
- Knowledge of a Geb testing framework
