Due to the participation of our company in a long-standing (more than 6 years) Maintenance and Modification type project for Statoil including 10 platforms engineering service, we are currently in need of candidates for the following position:
Automation\Control Systems Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Identifying scope of work for process and safety control systems.
- Preparation of estimates for control systems scope of work.
- Carrying out control system design activities incl. preparation of the following docuemtnation: IO lists, block diagrams, system topology drawings, logic diagrams, control narratives, cause & effect diagrams and other control system documentation.
- Selection and specification of control system equipment based on Client’s requirements.
- Preparation of technical specifications to suppliers and bid evaluations.
- Coordinating project deliverables with other discipline groups.
- Inter-discipline document reviews and supplier documents reviews.
- Preparation of study reports and site investigation reports.
- Participating in FAT ( Factory Acceptance Tests) at suppliers location.
- Providing input to procurement.
- Input to planning and reporting systems. Input to tenders.
Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of control systems’ design.
- Familiar typical process control applications, P&ID, C&E diagrams, logic diagrams and I/O lists.
- Knowledge of SAS systems architecture from suppliers such as: Honeywell, ABB and Siemens will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of functional safety concept (SIL) acc. to IEC 61511 will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of CAD software: AutoCAD, Microstation or other.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Able to work in a teamwork environment in a group of professionals.
- Good command of written and spoken English (minimum B2 level).
