We are seeking professional, motivated , tech savvy and detail-oriented individuals to join the Accounting and Compliance team. As a member of this team, you should know your accounting principles and the full accounting process end to end. You'll advise on financial reports required by governmental regulations, and you'll review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports - and all this sounds like fun to you. - Manage the financial reporting and compliance process for a portfolio of entities
- Prepare and analyze statutory financial statements across a range of industries and work with external auditors
- Contribute towards implementation of systems and processes for conversion of US GAAP books to Local GAAP etc.
- Document and map business processes and internal control. Suggest improvements where relevant
- Work with teams at offshore location to ensure smooth transition of work and high quality delivery
- Plan your work and effectively communicate with global teams to get the required reports / data on time
- Chartered Accountant / CPA
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 8-10 years of experience in Accounting team of a large global organization
- Minimum 6 years experience of working on a complex accounting ERP system like Oracle financials, SAP and the like
- Knowledge and hands on experience in conversion from US GAAP to Local GAAP
- Ability to execute complex process with extreme degree of accuracy
- Prior experience of working with global teams
- Willing to dive into details of operations
- Ability to meet multiple, demanding deadlines simultaneously
- Strong Communication skills (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to interface with multiple levels of management, tax consultants and auditors
- Proven ability to work independently
- Ability to be flexible and work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- The ability to use your knowledge of foreign language on a daily basis at work (we serve our Clients in almost 30 foreign languages)
- Experience with a range of Clients and technology solutions which provides professional relevance
