The Asset Control Specialist is responsible for inventory functions. The position coordinates and tracks all hardware and software inventory as well as maintains software licensing and publishes inventory reports. Assistance with Lease management as needed by location.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and Tracking of open orders with vendors
- Notify Inventory team/GST of expected deliveries
- Coordinates the laptop loaner program in their local office
- Coordinate and track all hardware and software inventory
- Receive and check in all hardware and software
- Coordinate PC moves
- Assist with laptop loaner program
- Monitors the Proof of delivery process which includes the asset tracking(APM) information of deliveries
- Receiving assets into the BBH Procurement System and Asset Repository(APM). Consists of unboxing, tagging assets, and marking request as order complete, and attaching a scanned copy of the packing slips
- Maintains the TTHs and move/add/updates in inventory system
- Maintain software licensing and where needed the master disk library
- Log return and replacement authorizations for equipment
- Publish inventory reports weekly to clients (Asset Team and EUC/GTS)
- Reconciliation for assets and leases on a scheduled frequency to resolve discrepancy issue based on APM discrepancy reporting
- Assist US Lease Lead with lease management Lease bids as needed by location:
- Ensuring vendors invoice the lessors properly
- Reconciling the lease and sending to US Lease lead for review
- Coordinate/Retaining local signatures where needed
- Returning to lessors and getting countersigned copies back to US Tech Contracts where needed
- Establish vendor relationships during monitoring of order ETAs and equipment returns
- Liason with EUC during quarterly DPM lease return events, Equipment receipts and discrepency reconciliatiion
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree and or equivalent work experience
- 0 to 2 years experience in a Systems inventory environment a plus
- Ability to use standard desktop tools effectively, including Microsoft Office
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and advanced functions. Microsoft Access a plus
- Knowledge of System infrastructure (Software, Hardware (configuration a plus), Telecom, Maintenance)
- Understanding PC Hardware and software terminology, a plus
- Strong Verbal and Written communications skills
- Ability to think analytically and resolve problems
- Travel (frequency varies) required for support across BBH offices
- Fluency in English
- Understanding of German, French, Polish to support European offices a plus
- Work Independantly and resourceful for support
- Meticulous attention to detail
