Job description

Our client is a Fortune Global 500 company that offers global management consulting and professional services in more than 120 countries. With vast global resources and deep technical know-how, they provide strategy, consulting, digital marketing and analysis, technology and operations services.
YOUR ROLE:
- Development and implementation within a big data platform.
- Assist with issue resolution and problem-solving. Troubleshoot custom application and clustered Splunk deployments .
- Participate in test planning, development, and execution for integration and system testing. Build customizations.
- Advise on risks, issues, and concerns.
- As a member of the innovation team, you’ll take part in the integration of new functionality and content.
- Develop product expertise and learn new software tools and skills.
- Automate repeatable tasks.
- Provide root cause analysis.
- Document implemented solutions.
Requirements
- Experience with ITIL/service management processes.
- Experience with scripting language (Python 3 is preferred).
- Linux administration. Automation with Bash.
- AWS.
- Experience with data processing and visualization .
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
- Ability to identify & propose solutions.
The following will be considered an advantage:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) certification.
- Hands on experience with Splunk.
- Experience with Big Data.
- Knowledge of containers/Kubernetes/Docker.
- Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, GIT.
- Windows administration/PowerShell scripting.
