Reporting to the Application & Commissioning Coordinator within the FEV Polska Testing Solutions department and working closely with a technical consultant. You will be responsible for developing the application for automation system as well as commissioning installations and deploying our products and solutions on our customers' sites.
- Preparing the concept of the application structure
- Developing the application for automation system (based on industrial PC and PLC’s)
- Prepare commissioning assignments (application) in collaboration with the Commissioning Technical Coordinator
- Apply the commissioning FEV rules with accordance to application
- Install automation system to control e-motor & battery / powertrain / fuel cells / combustion engine test benches at customer facilities
- Acceptance of the product with the client according to the control and validation points defined in the specifications or the product specifications
- Adapt your performance in terms of time, action, and travel to the contractual limits between FEV and the customer
- Ensure the reporting of your actions to the relevant managers (Technical Coordinator and Project Manager)
Your qualification:
- Technical background
- Understanding of the scripting languages (e.g., Visual Basic)
- Experience in usage of industrial hardware – configuration and troubleshooting
- First professional experience on relevant position
- Reactivity, autonomy, sense of contact and customer service
- Good English skills
- Availability and willingness to support international projects on business trips
- The ability to program PLCs e.g. Beckhoff / Siemens S7
- The practical knowledge of simulation software (Matlab/Simulink)
- C# programming
- Knowledge of communication protocols used in the automotive industry (understanding and configuration of CAN, EtherCAT, J1939, OBD)
- Automotive industry background related to powertrain
- Good manual skills – assembly of devices, cable routing etc. / reading electrical schemes (EPLAN)
