You will be
- Working with the senior leadership team at William Hill to deliver agile transformation across the entire business, to become a leader in agile delivery and an exemplar in Digital
- Specifically, coaching and mentoring Scrum Masters, Product Owners and agile teams to improve their agile ways of working
- Building capability within, and improving the productivity of William Hill development teams
- Using the William Hill Agile playbook, helping teams to assess the levers that could improve their agile maturity and productivity, and helping build a plan to implement those changes
- Creating the environment, team structure, processes and mindsets to deliver amazing products that delight customers and deliver revenue objectives
- Working alongside other Agile coaches, continuously evolve the William Hill Agile playbook
We expect you to have
Formal Education & Certification
- University degree in the field of computer science is preferred
Knowledge & Experience
- Experienced Scrum Master - 5 years minimum experience delivering software using Agile techniques
- Agile evangelist - Strong believer in agile principles, strong understanding of Agile frameworks and best practices
- Experienced coach - strong listener, able to observe, recommend and inspire
- Data driven analyst - uses data to assess performance and conduct root cause problem identification
- Experimenter - not afraid to experiment with new ideas to improve team performance
- Delivery focussed - able to organise teams and deliver transformation against a plan
- Facilitator - comfortable talking to and organising large groups, running workshops and facilitating effective agile ceremonies
- Technologist - comfortable with most common programming languages and techniques
- Trusted partner - builds trust and respect easily with teams and execs
