Your role:
- Utilize the Aptiv Supply Chain Management – “Supplier Performance Development Process (SPDP)”, as required, for the introduction of new purchased parts & possible component changes
- Coordinate & conduct, as required, Potential Supplier Assessments / Manufacturing Capability Assessments to the ISO / TS 16949 Standard at new supplier manufacturing sites / potential suppliers / critical suppliers
- Provide Quality data to the Regional buyers in support of relevant SPDP Tasks
- Participate in and conduct levels O, A, B & C Risk assessments for new / resourced parts to determine SPDP activities
- Manage / support Parts Readiness activities, as required, for the introduction of new programs
- Provide key personnel with regular status updates on Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities with suppliers
- Support other AQEs, SQEs, Parts Readiness & relevant Site personnel
- Care for good company image
- Care for confidential information and company’s property.
Essential requirements:
- Engineering or business degree (Electrical engineering degree preferred)
- Manufacturing and relevant category process expertise (especially semiconductors)
- Min. 3 years’ automotive business experience in Purchasing and/or Engineering environment
- Good computer skills (MS Office)
- Good ability to speak, read and write in the English language
- Expertise in quality tools
- Ability to work and communicate in an intercultural environment
- Willingness to travel
- Auditor skills preferable
