The Philips People Services Center Europe is based in Piła, Poland, and is part of Philips People Services. PPS is the Human Resources Shared Services organization of Philips. A team of HR professionals delivering HR Services to Philips employees and managers at all stages of the career cycle. PPS delivers cost-effective people services by leveraging economies of scale, globalizing processes and simplifying the ways of working, while delivering superior HR experiences by listening and acting on our customers’ feedback.
Your challenge:

You will be the contact point for General Management, HR managers and Employees. Embrace the challenges of communicating with at least 9 different countries while working in an international team.
Main duties:

Position will manage administration and payroll operations for Philips Shared Service organization in European countries. This includes the design, deployment of roles, responsibilities and processes including the staffing and training of required positions for the above mentioned areas

Process & productivity improvement activities (global and regional)
Key areas of responsibility:
-
Ensure the proper design and execution of all Philips retained data management and payroll processes. This includes but is not limited to terminations, new hires, reporting, leave management, pre-payroll input and validation, payroll processing calculation, post-payroll processing and year end payroll processes

Provide leadership for admin and payroll team, lead, develop, maintain and monitor assigned resources including reporting and headcount budgeting

Represent admin and payroll in global projects and reviews

Oversee, to ensure policies and procedures are fully documented and kept current with current processes and business requirements. Oversee the performances meets requirements of internal audits and check processes related to payroll processes

Manage employees and team activities. Coordinate development of employee, manager and HRM training and communication materials as required to support the payroll and admin processes

Responsible for all HR related aspects for all assigned staff including recruitment, target setting, performance appraisal and individual development

Aligns with all other department heads to deliver consistent HR services

Participate in developing organization staffing plan that aligns with the requirements to support the outsourced model

Ensure performance of 3rd party provider is monitored, improved and according to SLA. Leads monthly operations review meetings with outsource provider to ensure that process issues and other new business requirements are effectively handled. Ensure that appropriate methods and contacts are in place to support business and employee requirements. Ensure that an effective escalation process is in place and communicated to internal customer to deal with payroll and admin issues with appropriate vendor contacts

Manages all integration activities related to admin and payroll

Ensure internal audits and check processes related to payroll and admin processes meet ICS controls standards
We are looking for people with:

Graduate with Bachelor or equivalent degree
-
Minimum 3 years of relevant people management experience
-
Required German (in-country) payroll experience and knowledge of payroll processes

Extensive Human Resource administration professional experience

Knowledge of HR processes and policies
-
Fluent English and German language essential (Polish not essential)
-
Knowledge of other European language is preferred
-
Experience in HR Share Service Center is an additional asset
