Accounts Receivable Team Leader

Zadania:
- The role of an Accounts Receivable Team Leader is focused on coordination of the team performing accounting and clerical tasks related to the allocation and settlement of in-coming monies, as well as accounting of any client monies contained therein, as well as reporting activities.
- Participate in planning and supervising knowledge transfer of an as-is process while incorporating certain immediate process improvements
- Ensuring that service quality is maintained during transition
- Maintain excellent relationships with the current outsourcing provider to limit any transition risks
- Timely performing AR transaction processing
- Settlement of customer invoices
- Allocate receipts to invoices and handle Customer Clearing
- Maintain Debtors Accounts and reporting on receivables and overdue receipts
- Upload/input bank statements
- Resolve valid and authorised deductions by entering adjusting entries
- Resolve invalid or unauthorised deductions by following pending deductions procedures
- Perform analysis of Debtors Payment Terms, Payment History and Credit Rating
- Participate in the Month end closing activities like Bad Debts Provision, Write Offs, Forex Variance adjustments etc
- Prepare the daily schedule of monies to be moved from the office bank account to the client bank account and vice versa
- Maintenance of master data
- Be responsible for assigned KPI's to meet customer needs
- Participate in regular process reviews with clients and key stakeholders, as needed
- Act as a key contact point at SSC for the Central team and local finance teams
- Monitor work load to ensure smooth, timely and high quality service delivery
- Develop and implement backup structure
- Plan and manage absence of AR team members
- Support team to resolve issues
- University Degree: Finance or Accounting
- At least 5 years of professional experience; preferably in a Shared Service/BPO
- Fluent in English
- Proven track record in a role of a Team Leader or people supervisor
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Excel mandatory)
- Understanding of SLAs, KPIs, process documentation, SOPs
- Knowledge of SAP programme
- Ability to maintain strong working relationships with demanding internal customers
- Quality orientation, attention to detail and accuracy
- Teamwork, analytical and good communication skills
- Able to work efficiently under pressure
