Accounting Team Leader - Reporting
Workplace: Katowice
KEY DUTIES
- Preparation and coordination of monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities and prepares ad hoc financial reports including local direct and indirect tax declarations in agreement with local tax advisors
- Cooperation with local and international auditors for financial statement closing
- Maintains organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions (AP/AR/GL).
- Reviews general ledger on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy of posting.
- Oversees the daily accounting activities required to maintain the company's general ledger. Supervises, directs, and reviews the work of the accounting staff
- To communicate regularly with all team members and provide reporting and tax updates
- Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes
- Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliations
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Min. 3 years' experience in Account Payables and General Ledger area
- University Degree with focus on Finance / Accounting,
- Experience working for a large multi-national company would be an asset
- Very Good English both spoken and written
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
- Experience of managing multi-currency General Ledger
- Experience of general accounting and month end close routines
- Experience of intercompany accounting
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills,
