For our Client, international company located in Katowice, we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of Accountant with French.
Working on this position you will be responsible for preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reports in line with Client’s reporting guidelines, IFRS and country accounting requirements for the dedicated countries; reconciliation of more complex accounts and checking the accuracy of journal entries to ensure that the general ledger is accurate and complete; performing month and year closing activities; reviewing and controlling of accounting operations performed by service provider; preparation of financial statements in accordance with local accounting requirements and IFRS, based on the instructions of the country finance manager. Your responsibilities will also include research and solving queries related to accounting transactions and other local country issues in an agreed upon timeframe; interaction with other stakeholders, including external auditors, payroll and other service providers; coordination and facilitating the process of documenting accounting policies and procedures; improvement and development of internal processes and controls.
To be successful on this position you need to speak very good English and French as well as have accounting experience (preferably in R2R/ GL department), hold a university degree (preferably in accountancy, economy or finance) and have practical knowledge of IFRS. Ideal candidate should have analytical mindset, strong communication skills, proactivity with customer service orientation, results and quality orientation approach. Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) is required, knowledge of SAP or other integrated system will be an asset.
