Responsibilities:
Primary Functions:
- Involved in creating and maintaining monthly KPIs for the Account Setup
- Lead team responsible for Retail Clients and Admin Tasks
- Responsible for managing ad hoc projects throughout the entire life cycle
- Ensuring the monthly audits and controls are maintained and completed in a timely and accurate manner. Identify and address any issues
- To be a point of reference for members inside Account Opening team when dealing with complex queries
- Delegating daily and/or project-related tasks within the team, ensuring tasks are correctly prioritized to ensure the smooth operation of the team
- Effectively communicating changes in procedure to team members and any relevant colleagues
- Assisting the Account Opening in ensuring that all procedure manuals and databases are kept up-to-date with new policies and procedures
- Scheduling shifts
- Organizing and assisting in the training of new members of the team and ensuring all department training is kept to a high standard
- Holding regular one-to-one meetings to provide regular feedback, and conducting appraisals
- Promoting and driving change – devising and implementing new controls and processes to help improve the efficiency of the department whilst supporting, motivating and encouraging the team
- Providing support to and covering in the absence of the Account Setup Manager in all management areas
- Cooperating with stakeholders such Sales department and maintaining good relationship with all Stakeholders and other Global Account Opening Teams
Training management responsibilities:
- Assisting in the co-ordination and development of training programs for new members of the Account Opening Department
- Promoting the alignment of IG’s values, strategy and vision throughout the team
- Monitoring and reporting on the learning progress of newer colleagues
- Devising action plans to address any learning difficulties experienced by colleagues
- Mentoring and coaching individuals that report into you to ensure they excel within their role and progress within the company
