This business group will offer the full portfolio for customers wanting to buy mobile access networks. It target leadership in key technologies such as 5G, ORAN and vRAN.
Job Description
As System Specification Engineer in Cloud area you are responsible for understanding customer's business and technical needs and translate them into a solution. Your task covers concept definition and specification of requirements in 5G Cloud.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures that requirements are defined according to the use-cases defined by Product Management and customers
- Owns/Participate in technical forward looking studies, technical features definitions, issues resolution
- Provides guidance and support to feature specification team members on issues related to the Cloud area
- Owns/Participate in process reviews/inspection, workshops, task forces and research group related to Cloud area
- Ensure timely delivery of Cloud definitions/contribution to feature specification team
- Contribution to the overall evolution of the Mobile Networks Cloud strategy
Qualifications:
- Master of science in telecommunication, computer science or equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience in mobile network product development, test or network engineering
- Knowledge about mobile network technologies, virtualization and Cloud
- Detailed knowledge of radio system architecture, functions and protocols
- Presentation and communication skills
- Customer orientation
