For our Client, global provider of business applications moving them to modern and scalable Cloud Suite, we are looking for below Professionals:
Windows Monitoring Specialist
Wroclaw, Poland
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work as part of a cross-functional team to conduct proactive monitoring, remote diagnostic investigation and maintenance activities on cloud servers
- Act as an escalation point for all incidents involving a whole range of main cloud application set an infrastructure
- Identify, research, and develop process improvements and recommends them to management for implementation
- Provide support during large scale outages and disaster recovery efforts
- Create, use and maintain resource documentation for reference and troubleshooting problems
- Create change requests in accordance with change management policy
- Work with internal groups to create reports on up time, Service Levels, server utilization, and other key metrics as directed
- Provide recommendations to improve the customer experience.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- 3-6 years of System Administration on Windows OS and managing complex enterprise systems
- Extensive system administration experience on Windows and large scale web based application deployments
- Experience on Windows server platforms specifically Windows 2012 R2 is required
- Experience on Windows based products and services, specifically IIS, AD FS, Windows server update service, remote desktop services
- Experience in working in an ITIL mature environment
- Certifications in Amazon Web Services or Azure will be considered an asset.
SKILLS:
- Automation skills in PowerShell, Python or VBscript
- Skills in implementation OS patching, OS hardening, installation of applications, vulnerability testing, event management and log collection.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of OS security involving Active Directory, Windows networking, Group policies, DNS, PKI & Certificates
- Hands-on in Configuration Management system like Chef, Puppet etc.
- Proven ability to design, implement or document complex configurations of multiple integrated software products to meet the business needs of a customer.
