Web Developer/Support Analyst for Product
The primary role of Demo Services Team is to generate new opportunities by enhancing standard products and creating customized solutions to meet specific requirements for demonstrations. Our technical knowledge combined with presales and product development experience allows us to quickly understand prospect requirements and build custom demo solutions.
For this position we are seeking a highly motivated individual that will be working directly with Solution Consultants to come up with new innovative ways of targeting products to customers. You will be responsible for understanding their business requirements, figuring out the best way to meet these requirements and finally to create the demo solution (functional prototypes).
Responsibilities:
- Gain a full understanding of all technical aspects of company products in the assigned area of functional presales support
- Improving software capabilities by designing, implementing and communicating key features to ensure best possible demonstrations.
- Conceptualize, design and build demo solutions with guidance from technical and functional solution consultants
- Providing informal training on solutions and procedures delivered by the group
- Participate at tradeshows, conferences and other events as needed.
Required skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering, computer science or equivalent.
- Business knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and chosen Javascript framewors like AngularJS, TypeScript, JQuery or Bootstrap and Git.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience from Frontend Development and Business Consulting.
- Experience with web standards, browser capabilities, mobile device capabilities and limitations, best-practice development techniques.
- Acting as point of contact and focal point for solution consultants, both proactively and in support situations.
- Being capable of developing proof-of-concept prototype demo solutions.
- Being service minded and passioned about innovative technologies.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Curiosity, willingness and ability to continuously learn new areas.
- Very good English, written and spoken.
- Ability to prioritize tasks to ensure completion on time.
