You will be part of International DT Business organization where one of key role plays technological arm called Network Infrastructure (NWI).
Locally you will join GTS Poland entity one of many DT affiliates present in Poland.
We are looking for motivated candidates to extend local presence where own ideas, personal experience and state of the art technology are main driver to fulfill customer needs.
- Carrying out routine tasks to maintain 24/7 network operation in shifts:
- Network monitoring for voice and signaling (incl. number portability, SS7 firewall), detection of network disturbances
- Error detection and allocation, initiation and support of measures for error elimination (ticket handling)
- Operation of the various network consoles
- Configuration of line paths or routing (Linxa)
- Interface to technical areas (engineering, delivery, vendors) and commercial areas (e.g. TGC Routing Manager, sales, product management)
- Identifying the need for action at the customer facing services (CFS) or process level
- and initiate suitable measures for interference suppression
- Ensurig application availability (voice and signaling) and proper operation within the existing processes and infrastructure
- Measuring, analysing and monitoring the infrastructure for availability and performance; carrying out fault analyses and repair
- Ensuring all necessary monitoring and alarming screens in the control room (screen wall); technical and procedural development of monitoring tools for voice and signaling (e.g. use of Kibana)
- Communication with carrier customers in the event of network disruptions, mostly by e-mail or telephone (business language English)
Have a basic knowledge of:
- Voice telephony (both TDM and VoIP, SIP, All IP/NGN, fixed line and mobile, numbering, routing, number portability, roaming)
- Voice Signaling (STP, vSTP, Diameter, Sigtran)
- carrier voice and mobile voice business (product portfolio Telekom Global Carrier, Transit/Origination/Termination, Interconnection, SLA…)
- network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Internet
- TCP/IP protocols in practical use
- ticket system (CRMS, Switch), routing tool (Linxa), data bases (Cuba, Rubin), network management systems (Anritsu, SAS, vendor specific systems), network monitoring based on big data (Hadoop, Kibana), network protocol analysis tools (Wireshark) à practical expertise
- data security, legal obligations in regards to voice telephony
