Voice Network Engineer participates and/or provides leadership in the development and support of voice and network solutions and services for the customers.
- Deploy, maintain and support voice technologies to provide business connectivity needs.
- Supporting deployed voice solutions and architecture.
- Deploy, configure and maintain a variety of voice technologies including: Microsoft Lync, Cisco Call Manager, Avaya
- Perform traffic engineering analysis on network facilities
- Maintain a high level of knowledge on the deployment of network and voice technologies.
- Provide Tier 2 and 3 operational support for deployed technologies
- Maintain a high level of knowledge on the deployment of network and voice technologies
- Update standards documentation as necessary.
- Problem management; diagnosis, escalation, tracking and resolution
- Experience in managing Microsoft Lync and/or Cisco IPT solutions
- Knowledge on SIP and SIP Trunking
- Good understanding of IP networks
- Proficiency in office automation tools (MS Office Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio)
- Familiarity with advanced network based routing features
- Experience in interacting with telecoms on problem resolution
