Visual Graphics Language Coach

Job Description
- Conducting language-related trainings as faculty for Visual Graphics staff
- Coaching Visual Graphics staff in language-related issues and best practices, and supporting the on-boarding of new colleagues
- Developing and continuously enhancing the training curriculum in accordance with the strategy of the section
- Advising the section's Team Leaders and Section Heads on training and coaching options for their teams
- Liaising closely with trainers to organize the training activities in the Visual Graphics section
- Supporting the day-to-day PowerPoint exhibit support on demand
- Proofreading PowerPoint documents and marking up errors regarding spelling, punctuation, grammar, and digits
- Reviewing and marking up documents for consistent spelling and layout, as well as for adherence to (typo-) graphic standards, format, and design guidelines
- Responding to questions on spelling, grammar, usage, Firm guidelines/standards and style
- Collecting data for KPIs and reflect results with VG leadership group to improve the overall training/coaching support for Visual Graphics Specialists
- Liaising with local office proofreaders/editors to ensure SSC implementation of changes in language-specific guidelines and support maintenance of tools
Requirements
- Academic degree in Philology or equivalent subject
- Strong verbal and written communication/language skills both in English (C2 - CEFR1 or equivalent)
- IT literacy and some experience in working with MS Office, especially PowerPoint
- Flexibility to work in shifts and on weekends/public holidays
- Exceptional customer focus and the willingness to go the extra mile
- Strong process focus and drive for results
- Ability to work and stay focused under pressure
- Willingness to learn and share knowledge and experience across regional and institutional organizational boundaries
- Open mindset towards change and engagement for continuous improvement
- Good pedagogic and didactic skills and ability to develop ideas into practical concepts is an added advantage
