Vice President, Real Estate

A Warsaw-based family office is looking to hire a Real Estate Vice President in order to build an opportunistic real estate investment arm.

Your main responsibilities will be to source deals, execute transactions and develop an investment strategy that is focused on: Special Situations, Value-Add or Core + Office, Residential and Industrial assets within Poland.

The company currently has approximately €50M of fresh capital to deploy.

• Support management in establishing strategic plans, investment strategy and objectives
• Source & evaluate investments in line with the investment strategy
• Underwrite investment opportunities
• Prepare memorandum and pitches and present deals to investment committee
• Execute transactions through managing due diligence processes
• Source third party financing
• Support other departments, including Asset Management
• Overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, recommending and implementing changes to methods

• Completed studies in Real Estate, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or Finance, ideally with a focus on Real Estate
• Ideally 5 to 8 years' previous experience in Real Estate, preferably on the principle investment side or in an asset management, brokerage, investment banking, advisory platform or in development of ground-up large-scale development projects
• Proficient in Excel-based financial modelling
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills 
• Strong leadership and team management skills to help drive project development to successful completion
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills 
• Fluent in Polish and English
