The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises of two business lines, a dynamically growing International Operations Centre (SSC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe and local custody & clearing business offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full local clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland.
For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to apply for the position of:
As a part of finance team you will be a key actor in VAT analysis and processing for our clients. You will operate in international environment and
be a part of one of the largest company within Securities Services sector.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing VAT refunds
- Monitoring VAT regulations and initiating actions to be sure that our process is updated
- Preparing VAT analysis for our new activities and services
- Preparing VAT registers and backup information to provide continuity within the process
- Providing reports related to VAT
- Building relation with tax authorities and auditors (if needed)
- Performing VAT related controls & compliance checks
- Taking part in additional CIT related activities
- Being an active part of finance projects and initiating actions which improve effectiveness of the provided process
We are looking for you, if you:
- have minimum 2 years of experience in VAT reporting or VAT compliance position
- have University degree in Finance, Economics or similar
- present knowledge of tax system, with focus on VAT
- have fluent use of English
- possess a knowledge of accounting norms, principles and application
- have very good knowledge of MS Office (SAP will be consider as an asset
- pay attention to details and present tenacity to get things done
- are proactive and have problem solving approach
- want to develop and learn constantly
