Transport & Logistic Operations Center Manager

Opis stanowiska
The Operations Center Manager will be responsible for managing all customer operations through a central office that support customer locations across many European countries. Core responsibilities of the operations are: order optimization, freight booking, track and trace, exception management, accounts receivable/payables management and leveraging a methodology to drive continuous improvement. The Manager is expected to lead in the following areas: customer operations management, carrier management, employee management & development, recruiting, financial performance, process improvement and ensuring on-going customer and carrier satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Oversee & manage day to day customer activities and serve as an escalation point
- Create, implement and maintain SOPs
- Ensure daily operational tasks are completed
- Develop management reports to track KPIs and adherence to set targets
- Utilize project management skills to implement new business
- Support quarterly business reviews with customer to review metrics, discuss business opportunities and operational challenges
- Establish productivity goals and monitor KPIs for the account team
- Manage employee career development and deliver performance reviews on a bi-annual basis
- Self-development on changes within the transport & logistics industry
Wymagania
Required Qualifications:
- Operations Management - Strong customer management experience and history of successfully developing strong relationships at all levels internally and externally
- Process Improvement – Working with core process, optimization, cost reduction strategies, and working with a cross functional team to implement ideas
- Minimum 2 to 3 years direct supervisor experience and management of a dynamic team
- Experience recruiting and hiring team members
- Understanding of business financials, operating costs and managing accounts receivable/payables
- Positive, competitive, confident and self-driven personality
- Languages: Fluent in English, additional languages can be an advantage
