Your new company:
One of the largest in-house Shared Service Centers in Bucharest providing world class services in accounting, namely Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting and General Ledger, to almost all countries in Europe, for a very well-known and appreciated transport and logistics Company.
Your new role:
- Responsible for successful execution of one or multiple country-to-SSC transitions
- Responsible for on time on budget and on quality delivery of transition projects in compliance with the global transition methodology
- Responsible for setting-up, customizing and maintaining transition plan
- Responsible for set-up, training, coordination and management of transition teams (and work shadowers) as responsible transition manager
- Responsible for development, execution and communication of change management activities during transition
- Accountable for analysis and reporting of risks during transitions
- Responsible for Establishment and maintenance of relationships to internal and external stakeholders, on both local and global levels
- Participation in projects as required
What you’ll need to succeed:
- At least 5 years of experience in one accounting area (accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, general ledger) of which at least 1 year in a transition role
- Significant project management (incl. usage of project management tools) experience
- In-depth transition knowledge based on at least 2 successfully completed transitions
- Ability to lead, develop and mentor multiple teams
- Very strong communication and change management skills
- High flexibility and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time
- Excellent English language skills, additional European languages are very beneficial
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills
