Competitive salary
This role is responsible for ensuring import, export processes and procedures to ensure Dell EMC remains fully in compliance with customs laws and regulations while assuring smooth operational performance. This role also will provide support on larger regional or global trade projects.
- Support EMEA Trade team on overall trade compliance
- Manage Customs brokers, provide information & documentation requested by our customs broker and manage escalations and resolve issues
- Record retention & maintain Part Tariff List and issuing to forwarders on a weekly basis
- Support on trade EMEA and or global trade projects
- Apply customs regulations and WTO rules properly in order to provide accurate tariff classification, valuation, and country of origin determinations
- Metrics reporting, ensure cycle times met & proactively identify opportunities for cost savings/ supply chain optimization
- Manage & sustain programs such as Preferred Trader status (AEO)
- Undergraduate degree related to international business, international trade, logistics or supply chain and 2+ years in import/export compliance
- Knowledge of customs regulations in EU
- Languages : Polish, English, Russian is a plus
- Excellent communications and customer experience oriented
- Attention to details / analytical by nature
- Organized & efficient with ability to prioritize tasks
- Self – starter who does not need supervision / can work independently
- Experience in high-tech companies
- Knowledge of export controls
