We are looking qualified engineers working with LG Europe R&D team to verify interoperability of LG mobile devices with European Operators networks. Candidate will be working with terminals based on Windows Mobile and Android platforms. Must have "Quality Mind" to work with validation team and be sensitive to end user point of view.
Test (Validation) Engineer in LG Mobile Communication Company
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handset Application testing (Test preparation, execution and Defects Management )
- Preparation of test specifications and test reports (Excell, Power Point, graphical programs)
- Reporting, tracking and overall management of the Applications Testing
- On-time completion of projects with appropriate quality
- Review of competitors solution and propose own ideas to phones UI and usability improvements
- Support the preparation of weekly reports for LG PVG Management highlighting overall success rate on the projects assigned, Risks on the project
- Data management and post processing (Sharepoint and Excel tools)
- Contribution to CLs review and maintenance process
- Direct communication with other European divisions and HQ in Korea
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE & OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Master Degree in Information Technology or Telecommunications
- Minimum 2 years experience in the mobile telecommunications industry with previous experience in Mobile Equipments or Software quality management tasks
- Basic Knowledge of main web protocols (TCP/IP suite, HTTP, IMAP, POP-3, SMTP, etc.) and web applications/services development technologies (XML, Javascript, Ajax, CSS, J2SE/J2ME)
- Genuine interest for new mobile technology trends and services
- Fluent in English
