Test Manager

Responsibilites
- Facilitate communication between a number of teams including Project Managers, Analysts, Testers, Users, QA, Change partners, Production Support and Developers
- Create and manage test strategies and test plans.
- Review and manage test cases and associated progress status.
- Conduct test status review meetings and publish associated tracking metrics, notes and follow ups.
- Review and manage defect and CRs raised during testing.
- Coordinate and manage systems integration testing, functional testing, performance testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing, with associated verification and sign-off.
- Coordinate across projects, interacting with other test managers and regional points of contact, and act as a global test manager across them.
- Coordinate and manage system access across all testing phases with respective teams.
- Participate in Track post go-live issues and perform statistical analysis.
- Contribute to project opening documents and project management plans, project review boards, project lifecycle quality reviews & post release reviews.
- Ensure testing processed to plan, runs smoothly and is well controlled from a global perspective.
- Ensure that project complies with key customer’s processes and standards,
- Contribute to release management and go live activities and coordination.
Requirements
Mandatory:
- Computer Science or Software Engineering BSc or higher
- Proven QA knowledge and experience in managing testing phases, with solid testing experience.
- Project Management / Test Management skills with reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in process engineering and design
- Excellent organization skills
- Strong attention to detail
- High degree of self-motivation
- Team player with experience working with global cross functional teams
Desirable:
- Experience in leading QA functions within the Financial Services industry
- Technical qualifications in testing methodologies
- Knowledge of HP Quality Centre
- Full life cycle experience, using a structured development methodology
- Experience of Structured Testing
- Knowledge of SQL and databases
- Financial Product knowledge
- Experience of working in an Investment Bank
