Join our OPS Test Engineering team as an Senior Test Engineer.

Provide a support for test technicians carrying out end-of-line tests of multi-megawatt wind turbine converters and IGBTs power stacks

Design, support and improve testing procedures for frequency converters, including independent troubleshooting

Maintain and improve existing test equipment and test cells used for end-of-line testing

Acquire and store relevant transient measurements for system performance analysis

Participate in, promote and improve existing processes; assure proper documentation and release procedures

Work with Development Engineers to establish test requirements and test strategies for new products

Prepare new Test Procedures (TSPs)

Create research/troubleshooting investigation reports

Internal mentoring and communication; assuring compliance to rules and regulations

Train other members of the test team and production technicians on theory and design of new/existing test stands

Solid electrical power systems analysis, testing, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
-
At least 3 years relevant experience

Solid knowledge of IGBTs power conversion applications

Solid understanding of power electronics, induction generators/motors, frequency converters and power generation electrical infrastructures

Good instrumentation calibration theory and accuracy analysis

Solid report, technical specification and product manual writing skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills including presentations

Ability to effectively operate in the multidisciplinary project team environment and communicate with Customers and Suppliers

Proficient user of PC software, i.e., word-processing, spreadsheets, databases, file storage, and e-mail
-
Effective time management skills

A degree in electrical engineering or closely related field
