Job Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Manage a team of Project Engineers at Philips in Łódź, Poland, that create Site Preparation Specifications and Room Designs for examinations rooms in medical facilities (like hospitals and private clinics) in which Philips installs medical equipment world-wide.
You are responsible for
- Managing your team in all Philips people, performance and budget management aspects.
- A smooth operation (on-time completion of service requests at agreed quality and delivery of maximized value to the customer). KPI reporting to your direct manager and various parties.
- Managing customer relationships and customer satisfaction (project specific and for the assigned Markets). This includes priority, complaint management and escalation handling.
- Developing & Maintaining the team members’ personal skill set & efficiency and enhancing their consultative skills.
- Optimizing the overall performance of your team to contribute to the productivity target of the department.
- Actively initiating, motivating & facilitating your team members to contribute to a LEAN based operation and to making steps towards our vision. Intensive interaction, Daily Management aspects and Leading by example are Critical to success.
You are a part of
The Philips team based in Łódź is fitting and preparing the installation of large, high-tech, sensitive, medical devices safely and effectively in a building environment.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- You are an experienced operations/people manager with excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. Experience in a similar environment is a plus.
- Holding a Bachelor degree (preferably related to building works or engineering and supported by practical experience).
- Fluency in (technical) English is a must have, an extra language is recommended (team coverage).
- You have a technical background and you have the ability to read technical documents (text and drawings) is a must have. CAD experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service and relationship skills (comfortably calling and collaborating with a broad range of remote customers (both internal and external)).
- Able to listen, analyze, understand and summarize complex or vague requests, to be able to support the team by translating customer requirements into instructions.
- Being committed, accurate and predictable.
- Flexible, eager to learn and open for change and continuous improvement.
- Organized and able to deal with fluctuating workload and priorities,
- You are equally strong as team player and as individual (independency).
- Comfortable in an office environment.
- Comfortably working with Windows, Outlook and document management systems.
