Welcome to the Banking Application Development team, a part of the Software Development capability within One Technology.
As a Leader for Employees you will play a key role in leading and guiding the team of developers to help them grow and enable their potential, and as a part of the Software Development Capability Management team you will also play an active role in Nordea’s Software development community supporting us with your knowledge, experience and initiative.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead a team. You’ll take a responsibility for delivering a strong business results driving the functional excellence and uplifting your capability team
- Be a member of a Management team. Manage boundaries between your unit and relevant parts of the organisation while understanding the underlying business drivers.
- Implement and optimise processes, products, concepts and facilitate continuous improvements as a part of our workstreams. We expect you to challenge our ways of working and, together with other team leads, driving a change for a better tomorrow.
- Lead the way. Guide, mentor, coach, show direction, provide timely and well-documented feedback and performance assessment to enable your direct reports to cooperate, execute and reach their full potential.

Your experience and background:
- Good knowledge about application development
- Experience in driving IT initiatives
- Strong leadership, management and communication skills
