We are looking for you if:
- You have 6+ years’ experience in AML/KYC (name / transaction /adverse media screening, anti-terrorism financing) and risk assessment,
- You have proven experience with regard to risk-based investigations and analyzing Customers, drafting FEC risks recommendations and strong quality decisions on what to escalate and what not to escalate,
- You have extensive experience in leading projects and providing reports and supporting documentation to Senior Managers/Directors/Board level individuals for review,
- You have previous team leadership/management experience within an AML/KYC environment for a (major) financial institution,
- You have prior experience in an oversight role on similar KYC and CDD projects for global financial institutions,
- You are able to clearly and succinctly express ideas, facts and opinions. You can express them fluently both in speaking and writing, supported by appropriate tools,
- You are able to identify problems, analyze key information and make connections in order to find appropriate solutions,
- You can establish plans to determine tasks, priorities, and timelines and identifying the resources needed to achieve goals,
- You are fluent in English, reading and writing.

- Excellent leadership skills, including good problem-solving skills and strong organization skills, as well as pro-active presence within the team and involvement in and commitment to the day-to-day activities and decisions of the team,
- Excellent people management skills with the ability to support and develop team members, giving timely and constructive feedback, identifying and retaining key talents coaching skills, ability to motivate a team in a challenging environment,
- You are a good communicator, being able to convey complex messages in simple ways to bring adherence to “why” change is required to achieve effective management of the change program,
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience in leading a (large) delivery team performing complex KYC-related reviews for global financial services firms and in running the day to day operations of similar projects.
- Experience with different entity types including Wholesale, Mid Corp, Private Banking and Mass Retail.
- Professional certification (CAMS, CFE, ICA or equivalent).

The FCC Operational Support Team (FOST) is part of the Financial Crime Compliance Department, which is part of the Corporate Compliance department (based in Amsterdam).

Scope of duties
30%- Execution of FEC operations related to globally exited Customers or Customers qualified as ‘increased risk’ based on FEC concerns, within the respective FOST team via ensuring appropriate collection of available Customer data within ING Group, and reporting and escalating any issues identified to the Global FCC Head of AML or other relevant stakeholders
30%- Facilitate CIRC discussions on the FEC risks of a Customer, the collection of Customer data, calibration of findings and involving relevant stakeholders, prior to finalizing records and serve as a point of contact for the business regarding globally exited or increased risk Customers of multiple ING entities and related questions
10%- Major projects, process improvements and further support of complex investigations within these projects, responsible for achieving the best possible result within a fixed time frame
10%- Responsible for Quality Control (QC) of all task performed within the FOST and execution of controls and oversight of ING’s Internal Lists, aligned with agreed procedures
10%- Managing the team to support and develop team members, identifying key talents, and assisting the team in facilitating greater efficiency and timely production to high quality standards
10%- Collecting and documenting detailed Customer data to reflect completion and results of decisions taken with regard to Customer’s exiting or risk profile
