Mission Statement: To be a brand ambassador of ABB in the external talent market & create a strong talent pipeline to reduce the turnaround time to fill the business critical/niche/leadership roles which enables smooth business operations.
- Understand business situation, need and deliver role specific sourcing strategies to meet hiring goals in coordination with Hiring Managers and Talent Partners;
- Research the talent market and generate new strategies to attract business critical passive candidates through various sources (e.g. referral generation, events sourcing campaigns and Alumni);
- Generate a solid pipeline of pre-qualified and engaged candidates;
- Search, evaluate & propose the competent candidates for the critical/niche requirements;
- Track and report best sourcing passive and active candidate channels;
- Apply alternative approaches to source for specific vacancies leading to diverse pools/pipelines of high quality candidates;
- Create and maintain lists of potential target companies based on a job family/industry and monitor their market activities;
- Build a robust network of both passive/active candidates throughout the talent sourcing process by means of continuous engagement in proactive dialogues;
- Identify and utilize appropriate ways of candidate cultivation including, but not limited to, social media channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Xing, Weibo, etc.), basic data mining, job boards, grassroots efforts, community and university outreach, personal networking, internal referrals, target companies and ABB internal database;
- Build up strategic external candidate pipelines for business critical positions;
- Liaise with external head-hunting agencies for niche and selected positions based on the sourcing strategy;
- Stay abreast of market trends and track competitive practices.
