For our location based in Lodz, that consists of four production Factory, we are looking for Campus Tactical Purchasing Manager, to join our energetic team. This permanent position is well suited to an individual who is looking to advance their career in tactical purchasing and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace. Your responsibilities
- Translate best the material demand plan into a work plan for the teams in order to help overall costs and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively forecast information to the suppliers.
- Oversee programs to drive improvement in cost, quality, delivery and working capital (payment terms, lead times, order quantities and purchased material inventory etc.) in accordance with Group P&L guidelines and local Division/Business Unit objectives.
- Closely cooperate with Senior Internal stakeholders to develop and extend services portfolio and implement first-time-right approach in quality of provided services.
- Monitor supplier performance level on agreed KPi’s and provides regular feed-back to suppliers, planning and other stakeholder.
- Lead respective Factories’ activities with respect to the Supplier Performance Improvement process and defines improvement measures with the suppliers in alignment with SCM and other concerned functions.
- Provide internal reporting and populates agreed sections of standard reports such as Supplier performance evaluation.
- Implement Group, BU or Hub driven process improvements.
- Supporting conformance to Hitachi ABB Power Grids Supply Chain Management metrics and process standards.
- Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies and Group Supply Chain Management excellence guidelines (knowledge management, functional training, etc.).

Your background
- Experience in successful people management and organizational culture change in manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 5 years proven purchasing experience from a similar role, including processes designing and setting them up in organization.
- Supply Chain thinker, well understanding of processes and drive for making them vertical integrated.
- Master’s Degree in business, manufacturing/logistics, or engineering.
- Strategic approach and focus on executing planned actions and assessing progress toward goal.
- High interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively with internal and external Clients and influence others at all levels of an organization to achieve good result.
- Readiness to act with sense of urgency – prioritize well and get job done.
- Strong leadership skills and can-do attitude – willing to deal with problems or new tasks.
- Analytical aptitude and thinking, strong data collection and analytical skills for complex project.
- Fluent in English is mandatory
