We are looking for success-oriented People for the position of the Tactical Purchasing Business Partner for the Distribution Transformers Factory in Łódź. The tasks in this position are focused on acting as the key contact for factory and purchasing department. To be in charge of executing the procurement of the materials and services that support the business by optimizing cost, availability, inventory and reliability of the suppliers and supplied products. - Be the key contact in daily Factory operations in terms of purchasing as an internal supplier to production.
- Ensures effective procurement processes in line with business strategy, sourcing strategy and supply agreements and in accordance with Company guidelines.
- Supports effective Purchase Order to Pay process.
- Effectively makes required decisions, takes appropriate actions and communicates information to stakeholders in a timely manner to support execution of production plan.
- Monitors supplier performance level on agreed KPi’s and provides regular feedback to suppliers.
- Engages with SCM to improve the supplier’s service and delivery performance.
- Supports cycle counting and/or year-end inventory counting as inventory manager.
- Actively reviews the need to adjust the procurement processes and tools.
- Supports conformance to HITACHI Supply Chain Management metrics and process standards.
- Uses own expertise knowledge to provide best support to Factory representatives, colleagues or other functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, engineering or equivalent combination of experience and/or education.
- Minimum of 5 years in Supply Chain/Purchasing with experience in a demanding and changing supply chain preferably in high volume and complex environment.
- Strong analytical ability (in order to analyze facts and figures) to adapt to different client needs and to develop and maintain successful work relationships; a tact and diplomacy.
- Proficient in the use of excel, analyzing data, preparing reports and familiarity with operating computerized supply chain MRP systems are required.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Drive to proactively meet internal and external customer needs.
- Self-motivated with high amount of personal energy and a passion for excellence.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
