Systems Management Engineer (End User Computing)

Key function:
- Purpose of the role is responsible for the management, administration, delivery and integrity of the mobile and endpoint computing infrastructure for some 6,500 end users globally
- Support of Desktop as a Service technologies and the print infrastructure
- Technical Support 3rd line level and vendor liaison with key suppliers
- Day to day service delivery, escalation, resolve problems and implementation tasks
- Support of multiple technologies around mobile working these areas include laptop, tablet and smartphones
- Projects and programmes of system change and maintenance, support duties, design improvements and service improvements
- Problem identification, resolution and analysis
- Resolve incidents, service customer requests and ensure a high-quality service maintain
- Software/Hardware installation, testing, identifying, building and implementation service improvement
- Measure systems against agreed Operations performance metrics (e.g. Balanced Scorecard, Security patching status, SLAs)
- Recommend changes to the technical infrastructure
- Work closely with support teams and involvement in team project
- Close cooperation with Infrastructure Manager, Applications Manager, Project teams, Regional, central support teams and non-IT departments such as Finance, HR, End users.
- Participation in an ‘on call’ in order to provide 24x7 coverage
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years IT systems experience in 2nd or 3rd support line
- Excellent Services and Customer focused skills
- Experience in MS Windows 10 (deployment and management) and network IT Infrastructure and hardware
- Proficient knowledge of SCCM (task sequences, Deployments, Client Management and Compliance), Advance Performance monitor and troubleshoot, Active Directory, GPO management and PowerShell scripting
- Fluent English
- Nice to have ITIL experience, knowledge of Mobile management technologies (MDM, Android, iOS), Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS), VPN, Sync technologies
