Currently we are looking for candidates interested in position of:
The System Administrator, Corporate IT Cloud team, will manage third party and Lionbridge developed applications running in Lionbridge datacenters as well as private and public clouds. This include regular IT management and maintenance of operation system and components that host the applications, support of these systems and components in order to maintain maximum application availability.
Responsibilities include management of software distribution systems, private cloud services, configuration management of server farms, monitoring, security reviews and application troubleshooting. The qualified applicant will become part of Lionbridge Corporate IT group.
- Coordinate application driven changes to IT backend system and environments working with other Corporate IT teams;
- Manage, run and keep up to date multiple transfer services used by Lionbridge employees and vendors;
- Support Lionbridge Offices globally – education/training and support of running servers/services within our private cloud within our datacenters;
- Perform research and analysis of reported problems and issues, develop and recommend solution;
- Maintains software configuration management tools and processes to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of internally developed software products;
- Using automation, deploy package and server updates to Production, QA and testing servers as well as assisting the broader IT team with IT driven changes/projects.
- Recent 3-5 years’ experience as a Systems Administrator or similar;
- Broad infrastructure IT experience and competence;
- Extensive Windows Server administration experience, including Microsoft System Center;
- Automation experience using Powershell and database management;
- Bachelor’s degree or higher;
- Fluent knowledge of English;
- Ability to work independently, plan workload and deliver on commitments;
- Proven communication and organizational skills.
