What will you do?
- Method design: working with stakeholders to turn ideas and hypotheses into robust primary research projects
- Project management: end-to-end management of global projects, including liaising with vendors and supervising more junior members of the team, both locally and globally
- Reporting: working independently, and with more junior members of the team, to analyse and report on primary data
- Storytelling & Presentation: interpreting data and shaping compelling insights for a variety of internal and external audiences
- Innovation: internally, developing strong links with other parts of the Accenture Research Innovation Services team, including Data Science, Economic Modelling and Data Visualization, to bring the hybrid methods to our stakeholders; and externally, building the brand of the Primary Research team and keeping us ahead of the development curve by attending and presenting at conferences, meeting vendors etc.
What do we expect?
- 8+ years’ business experience, ideally within a research agency or research department
- Experience of managing primary, multi-method research projects across multiple geographies
- Experience of working on multiple projects at the same time and/or in virtual teams (i.e., multi-locations, multi-countries)
- Experience of working with multiple stakeholders (e.g., marketing, client teams, industry experts)
- Evidence of employing innovative research techniques to drive differentiated outputs
Evidence of skills and expertise beyond survey research (e.g., qualitative methods, data science)
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Strong collaboration skills
- Understanding of global business and economic issues
Knowledge
- Expertise in primary research methodologies
- Knows when to employ different primary research methods/techniques
- Able to clearly explain the pros and cons of different methods to non-expert audiences
- Comfortable with both B2C and B2B primary research
- Expertise in quantitative data analysis techniques including:
- Manipulation and analyze survey data
- Translating questionnaires into databases
- Using SPSS or other analysis packages
- Employing statistical analysis such as significance testing, using appropriated methods for analysis, descriptive analysis
- Employing advanced statistical analysis such of regression, factor analysis, segmentation, cluster analysis and conjoint analysis can be used
- Understanding statistical principles such as sampling and weighting.
